Fiberglass and Carbon Fiber Sport .11
The War Eagle's design comes from the full size 1989 Winston Eagle. Steve Newton's 1/8 scale plans were used as a starting point, then scaled down to the different classes. Two years of testing the Sport 40 II and making necessary changes were made to the bottom of the hull to make it one of the lightest with the smallest envelope possible. Not only is this hull faster than the rest, every care was taken to make it legal in all NAMBA racing. The sponsons are a foam core design that can be removed for replacement in case of accident, plus the inclination angle can be fine tuned.
The War Eagle is a dream to drive and it never hurts to be the fastest. It will give you many years of enjoyment.
